What You Should Do

• -Check your current CRS score and compare it against the latest draw cut-offs at canada.ca/express-entry. If your score is at or above 382, you may be eligible for the French-language proficiency category — ensure your French-language test results (NCLC level 7 in all 4 abilities) are uploaded to your Express Entry profile.
• -If you are in the Canadian Experience Class stream, note that cut-offs ranged from 507–523 in 2026. Review your profile for any additional points you can claim (e.g., a valid job offer, provincial nomination, or additional language scores) at ircc.canada.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp.
• -If you have a CRS score between 382 and 522, consider whether you qualify for any active category-based selection categories (e.g., French-language proficiency, transport occupations, senior managers). • -Check the Express Entry pool breakdown to see where your CRS score ranks among the 226,859 current candidates, so you can realistically assess your wait time and consider strategies to improve your score before the next draw (draws occur approximately every two weeks).
