On August 19, 2026, IRCC held a French-Language Proficiency draw (Draw #437) issuing 5,000 invitations at a CRS cutoff of 382 — the lowest French-language cutoff of 2026, down 9 points from the previous French draw on August 6 (391).
On August 18, 2026, IRCC held a Canadian Experience Class draw (Draw #436) issuing only 1,000 invitations at a CRS cutoff of 523 — the smallest CEC draw of 2026 and the highest CEC cutoff recorded this year, up 7 points from the August 5 CEC draw (516).
As of August 16, 2026, the Express Entry pool contains 226,859 candidates; IRCC has now issued 112,865 invitations in total across all 2026 draws.
