On July 6, 2026, IRCC issued 534 ITAs in a PNP-specific Express Entry draw with a CRS cut-off of 708 — the lowest PNP cut-off score of 2026 so far, down significantly from 730 on June 22 and 805 on May 25.
Ontario launched Phase 1 of a major OINP redesign on June 25, 2026: the existing 8 streams were removed and replaced with a single new 'Ontario Workforce Priority' stream, with the Expression of Interest (EOI) system expected to open later in summer 2026.
IRCC held four Express Entry draws the week of July 6–10, issuing a total of 8,034 ITAs across PNP, French-Language Proficiency, Canadian Experience Class, and a new Senior Managers with Canadian Work Experience category draw.
What You Should Do
- If you have a provincial nomination, check your CRS score now at canada.ca/express-entry — the July 6 PNP draw cleared at only 708, the lowest of 2026, meaning your chances of receiving an ITA may be higher than in recent months.
- If you are pursuing the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program, monitor the ontario.ca/page/2026-ontario-immigrant-nominee-program-updates page for the official opening date of the new Ontario Workforce Priority stream EOI system, which is expected later in summer 2026.
- If you were previously in one of Ontario's 8 old OINP streams, review the Ontario Regulation 422/17 amendments (in force June 25, 2026) at ontario.ca to understand how the shift to the Ontario Workforce Priority stream affects your eligibility and next steps.
- If you have arranged employment in Ontario and meet language/education requirements, prepare your supporting documents now (job offer letter, language test results such as IELTS or CELPIP, and educational credentials) so you are ready to submit an EOI when the Ontario Workforce Priority stream opens.
